In addition to our newly acquired space SPM USA has invested in a state of the arts software package. This procurement system allows us to manage the entire supply chain using real time data availability allowing SPM to provide current information and updates to our customers.

ALLOY 825 and ALLOY 625
NewsSPM is now stocking Pipes, Fittings and Flanges in ALLOY 825 (NO8825) and ALLOY 625 (NO6625).
Manufactured in Europe we are stocking 1/2″ to 12″ NB in wall thicknesses Sch10s, 40s and 80s.
The material will meet the full requirements of Shell MESC specs 74/019 and 74/026 and initially stock will be carried in our Manchester (UK) warehouse with stocks to be rolled out at our other locations Worldwide by the end of 2010.
We have decided to increase our stock range due to the increase in demand from our market sectors for Alloy 625 and Alloy 825 and our new office in Dubai especially has seen a huge interest in Alloy 825 material since it opened earlier this year
SPM’s stock range will now include Stainless Steel (316/L), Duplex (S31803 / F51 / 2205), Super Duplex (S32760 / S32750 / 2507 / F55 / F53), 6% Moly (S31254 / F44) and Nickel Alloys (NO8825 / NO6625).

Offshore Europe 2009
Trade ShowsSpecial Piping Materials recently exhibited at the Offshore Europe Conference from 8-11 September in Aberdeen, Scotland.
SPMs key focus at the Exhibition was in the Sub Sea, Desalination and Oil and Gas markets with emphasis on uses of our stock material Duplex, Super Duplex and 6% Moly.
It was a record-breaking week at SPE Offshore Europe which has seen the international event raise the bar even higher with record crowds and the largest ever exhibition, alongside a conference which featured many of the World’s leading energy industry and political figures.
The premier upstream oil and gas event drew more than 49,000 attendees, 20% more than the previously record-breaking 2007 conference and exhibition, and featured more than 1,500 exhibiting companies from around the world. This included 330 companies participating at the show for the first time.

Special Piping Material Ltd is pleased to announce the opening of a new branch in Dubai. This new operation is being spearheaded by newly appointed Middle Eastern and India regional Manager Zishan Ali Khan. Zishan has many years experience working in the oil and gas sectors of the Middle East and will develop SPM’s presence in the area, particularly relating to the sales of Super Duplex, Duplex and 6% Moly pipes, fittings and flanges.
Duplex and Super Duplex is now used in the construction of desalination and water purification systems as well as oil and gas.
SPM have offices and stock facilities in Manchester (UK) Aberdeen (UK) Singapore, Houston, Perth (Australia) and now Dubai.
In addition to Duplex/Super Duplex, SPM carry stocks of 6% Moly, Nickel alloy 825 and 625 and stainless steel. All exotic grades such as Hastelloy, Cupro Nickel and Titanium are also within our scope.
All stock material is tested in accordance with the latest editions of NORSOK MDS and Shell MESC specification from PDO and M-650 approved suppliers.
