As well as our extensive stocks of Pipes, fittings and flanges, Special Piping Materials also keep a wide range of semi finished products including part machined flanges. Our stock pipe can also be free issued to approved manufacturers to produce butt weld fittings on a short delivery basis.

All SPM stock is manufactured by leading European Mills which are both NORSOK M650 and PDO approved and also tested to the relevant NORSOK MDS and Shell MESC specifications.

We have developed close working relationships with these mills however we are not tied to any specific one, thus allowing us to be more competitive and reduce lead and delivery times

Forged Fittings

All of our fittings are corrosion resistant and designed to operate in high-pressure environments.

They are made with sharp threads (or socket weld) to ensure strong connectivity and chamfered to ensure an even pipe flow.

There are a variety of fitting available, including:

 

• 45° elbows
• 90° elbows
• straight and reducing tees
• couplings
• half couplings
• caps
• plugs and bushing crosses
• laterals
• street elbows
• inserts

All these fittings are available in the following pressure ratings: 2000, 3000, 6000 and 9000 pound.

And because they are available in duplex, super duplex, 6% moly, nickel alloy and stainless steel, our forged fittings are hard wearing, corrosion resistant and long lasting. 

Our fittings contain material in accordance with ASTM A182 and their dimensions are in accordance with ANSI B16.11 & BS 3799.
